Cenacolo di Santa Croce
The ancient refectory of the convent of Santa Croce, or "Cenacolo", built in the first half of the fourteenth century, is a vast rectangular room with covered beams, whose bottom wall was frescoed by Taddeo Gaddi: the Last Supper is dominated by 'Tree of Life (inspired by the Lignum vitae of Bonaventura da Bagnoregio).
